I'm having trouble linking my Google account to CapCut.
I only have one Google account. I even created and then deleted the account that CapCut seemed to think my Google account was associated with, but I'm still getting the same error.
The other issue is that I no longer get the option to choose which Google account to connect. It automatically tries to use the same account every time, my screen briefly goes dark, and then the error appears.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to reset the Google account selection or fix the connection issue, or am I stuck without being able to link my Google account?

That loop happens because your phone or browser has cached your Google credentials (or is using Google Smart Lock or automatic sign-in), causing it to automatically select the same Google account each time.
The error message "This Google account is linked to another CapCut account" means your Google account is already associated with a different CapCut profile.
A Google account can only be linked to one CapCut account at a time.
Do the following:
Step 1: Stop the Automatic Sign-In
To choose a different account, you'll first need to clear the cached Google authorization.
If you're using Android or iPhone:

Remove CapCut's Google access:
- Open Settings > Google > Manage your Google Account.
- Go to the Security tab and find Your connections to third-party apps & services.
- Select CapCut and choose Remove Access or Stop using Sign in with Google.

Clear the CapCut app cache:
- Android: Go to Settings > Apps > CapCut > Storage, then select Clear Cache. If necessary, also choose Clear Data.
- iPhone: Open CapCut, go to Settings, and use Clear cache if available. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app.
If you're using a PC or web browser:
- Open your Google Account settings, go to Security, locate your connected apps, and remove CapCut's access.
- Clear your browser's cookies and cache, or try signing in with a different browser.
Step 2: Resolve the "Linked to Another Account" Error
Since your Google account is already linked to another CapCut profile, you can't attach it to your current account until it's been unlinked from the existing one.
- Sign out of your current CapCut account.
- Sign in with Google from the main CapCut login screen instead of attempting to link Google from within your account settings.

Choose which CapCut account you want to keep:
- Signing in with Google will open the CapCut account that's already associated with your Google account.
- If you want to continue using that account, simply keep using it going forward.
- If you want to use your Google account with a different CapCut profile, first sign in to the Google-linked CapCut account, add another sign-in method (such as TikTok or Facebook if available), then unlink Google. After that, you can sign back into your preferred CapCut account and link your Google account there.
