Does anyone know which version of CapCut introduced the bilingual captions feature?

I'm trying to find out when this feature was added, but I haven't been able to locate the information.

If anyone knows the specific version or release, I'd really appreciate your help.

Hi,

CapCut introduced the official, native Bilingual Captions feature in Version 3.6.0 for its desktop versions (Mac and Windows), which rolled out in early 2024.

Before this update, creators had to use workarounds such as duplicating the text track, auto-generating captions in a second language, and manually aligning them or rely on third-party plugins.

Version 3.6.0 integrated the feature directly into the Text -> Auto Captions menu, allowing you to select a bilingual language pair (such as English + Spanish) from the start.

If you're looking for it in your current setup, make sure your CapCut is updated to version 3.6.0 or later.

Then go to the Captions tab, select Auto Captions, and look for the Bilingual Captions option in the language selection menu.
