For some reason, Player 3 isn't showing up in CapCut for me. I've looked around but can't seem to find it, and I don't think there's really a substitute for it.
Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a way to get it back or fix it?
I'm using the mobile version, if that helps.

I have read recent user feedback from mobile users that the Player 3 effect has disappeared from the CapCut effects library, even though it was available before.
Unfortunately, if Player 3 no longer appears in search or the Effects panel, it's because CapCut has:

Removed or delisted the effect.

Changed which accounts or regions can access it.

Moved it behind a different release or server-side rollout.
CapCut's effects library is cloud-based, so effects can disappear without an app update and can't usually be restored manually.
A few things you can try:

Clear the app cache (Profile → Settings → Clear cache) and restart the app. We have seen users fixing missing or broken effects, it doesn't help if the effect has been removed.

Search for "Player 3" under both Video Effects and Body Effects (if applicable), since categories sometimes change.

If you have an older project that already uses Player 3, open it. Existing projects may retain the effect even if it's no longer available for new edits.

Send feedback through CapCut (Profile → Settings → Help & Feedback) requesting the effect be restored. CapCut recommends this for missing effects.
If Player 3 has genuinely been removed from the current mobile library, there isn't a way to add it back yourself.
