I'm trying to save a text preset that includes the Bounce Out animation, but every time I save it, the preset is created without the animation.
It gets even weirder: if I apply the preset to new text and then try to manually add Bounce Out back, the animation doesn't even show up in the Animations tab for that text.
Has anyone else experienced this or found a workaround? It's taking forever having to recreate my text styling from scratch every time.

Yes I have noticed other users mentioning the behavior that's very similar to yours on CapCut 18.7.0 for iPhone. The following have been observed:

Text presets saving without outro animations (or only saving the font/style).

Specific text animations disappearing from the Animations panel after applying a preset or editing certain text layers.

Animation options behaving inconsistently after the latest update.
Based on what you've described, this looks much more like a bug in 18.7.0 than something you're doing wrong.
Things worth trying

Create a brand-new text layer (don't duplicate the broken one) and see if Bounce Out appears there.

Force close CapCut and restart your iPhone.

Offload/reinstall CapCut (after making sure your projects are backed up or synced). On iPhone, offloading can clear corrupted app data while preserving documents.

Test in a new blank project to see whether it's project-specific or app-wide.

Check the App Store for an update as 18.8.0 is now available, it's worth installing since bugs like this are fixed in subsequent releases.
If Bounce Out is missing only on certain text layers
That's another symptom others have reported: some text layers lose access to parts of the animation library, while newly created text layers still have them.
Unfortunately...
At the moment, there doesn't appear to be a reliable workaround that allows Bounce Out to be permanently included in a saved text preset on 18.7.0. The preset system not consistently saving text animations in this version.
If you can answer these two questions, I can narrow it down further:

Is Bounce Out missing for all new text layers, or only for text that had the preset applied?

Is Bounce Out a Pro animation on your account, or does it normally appear without a Pro subscription?
