Same here. And it seems it is only an issue with Mac. iPad & iPhone is working but the desktop version with the interface and features unfortunately not yet. Spaces is the missing features...

Hi,

You are having trouble accessing your CapCut cloud projects on your Mac app, even though they are visible in your browser. This can be a bit confusing, but there are a few things we can check to get your projects to show up on your Mac.

Here are some possible reasons and troubleshooting steps to help you see your cloud projects in the CapCut Mac application:

Potential Reasons & Solutions:

  • Account Synchronization:
  • Verify Account Login: Double-check that you are logged into the exact same CapCut account on your Mac application as you are in your browser. It's easy to accidentally use a different email or login method. Log out and log back in on the Mac app to be sure.

  • Check Cloud Sync Status:
  • Sometimes, the app might take a moment to fully synchronize after logging in or after a backup. Look for any sync icons or status messages within the CapCut Mac app (in the project area or settings). If there's a sync in progress, let it complete.

  • Refresh Project List:
  • Try manually refreshing the project list within the Mac app. Look for a refresh button or option in the project view. If not, closing and reopening the app can also force a refresh.

  • App Version and Compatibility:
  • Ensure Latest App Version: Make sure you are using the most recent version of the CapCut Mac application. Outdated versions might have synchronization issues. Check the Mac App Store for updates.

  • Compatibility Issues:
  • While generally compatible, there might be unforeseen issues between specific Mac operating systems and CapCut versions. Check CapCut's help resources or community forums if you suspect a compatibility problem.

  • Cloud Storage and Project Location:
  • Confirm Cloud Backup: Double-check in your browser CapCut account that your projects are indeed backed up to the cloud and not just locally saved. Look for a "Cloud" or "Backup" section in your online account.

  • Project Visibility Settings:
  • Some cloud services have settings for project visibility or sharing. Ensure your projects are set to be visible to your own account and not restricted in any way that might prevent the Mac app from seeing them. CapCut's cloud storage is designed for personal access, but it's worth a quick check if you see any such settings in your browser account.

  • Network Connectivity:
  • Stable Internet Connection: Cloud synchronization requires a stable internet connection. Ensure your Mac has a good Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.

  • Firewall/Antivirus:
  • In rare cases, firewall or antivirus software might interfere with CapCut's cloud synchronization. Temporarily disable them (one at a time, and only if you are comfortable doing so) to see if it makes a difference. If it does, you may need to add CapCut as an exception in your firewall/antivirus settings.

Steps to Troubleshoot:

  • Restart CapCut Mac App: Close the CapCut application completely and then reopen it. This often resolves temporary glitches.
  • Log Out and Back In: Within the CapCut Mac app, log out of your account and then log back in using the same credentials you use in your browser.
  • Check for App Updates: Go to the Mac App Store and see if there's an update available for CapCut. Install any updates.
  • Verify Internet Connection: Ensure your Mac is connected to a stable and working internet network.
  • Check Cloud Storage Online: Go back to your CapCut account in your browser. Confirm again that your projects are listed in your cloud storage area.
  • Look for Sync Status/Refresh: Within the Mac app, carefully look for any sync icons, status messages, or refresh buttons related to cloud projects. Use them if you find them.

If none of the above steps work, and you are sure you are logged into the correct account and your projects are backed up online, it's best to reach out to CapCut's technical support. Write an email to [email protected].

They can provide specific guidance for your situation and investigate if there's a technical issue on capcut's end.

By systematically checking these points, you should be able to pinpoint why your cloud projects aren't appearing in your CapCut Mac app and get them to sync correctly.
