Hello there!

I am searching for a video that assist me to apply colorized subtitles word by word when pronounced. All the videos I found have one year of age or more, therefore their Capcuts versions are older than mine. Althou my version of the software is updated, I haven't got or I just can't find this resource.

I use Capcut PRO to PC but the video that come closer to what I would like to do is this:

Hi,

Creating word-by-word colorized subtitles in CapCut PC Pro can be a bit challenging, especially if you are using the latest version where certain features might be relocated or renamed.

While CapCut doesn't currently offer a fully automated feature for this effect, you can achieve it through a combination of auto-captions and manual adjustments.

Step-by-Step Guide to Word-by-Word Colorized Subtitles in CapCut PC Pro

  1. Generate Auto-Captions:
    • Import your video into CapCut.
    • Navigate to the Text tab and select Auto Captions.
    • Choose the appropriate language and generate the captions.
  2. Split Captions into Individual Words:
    • After generating captions, select each caption segment on the timeline.
    • Manually split the sentences into individual words by adjusting the text and timing for each segment.
    • This process involves duplicating caption segments and editing the text to display one word per segment, aligning them with the corresponding audio.
  3. Apply Color Changes to Each Word:
    • Select a caption segment (now containing a single word).
    • In the Style panel, change the text color to your desired color.
    • Repeat this process for each word, assigning different colors as needed.
  4. Synchronize Timing with Speech:
    • Ensure that each word appears on screen in sync with the spoken word in the audio.
    • Adjust the timing of each caption segment on the timeline to match the audio precisely.

Additional Tips

  • Use Templates: CapCut offers various text templates that might simplify the styling process. Explore the Templates section under the Text tab to find suitable options.
  • Highlight Keywords: Some versions of CapCut have a feature to highlight keywords automatically. While this might not provide full control over individual word colors, it can be a starting point.

If you need further assistance or have specific questions about any of the steps, feel free to ask.

Hello Mr. @admin

Thanks for your attention, but it's impractical split word by word on a 25' (or more) video.

I hope Capcut can improve on the nexts versions of the software.
