Hi,

This is a known bug happening for many users right now especially on CapCut PC and iOS where the AI Video Generator / AI Media styles don’t load. It mostly happens after a server-side update from CapCut.

Below are the fixes you can try:

1. Switch region temporarily

This is currently the MOST reliable fix.

CapCut AI features sometimes stop loading depending on your region/server.

Try switching your CapCut region:

On Mobile

  1. Open SettingsGeneralLanguage & Region

  2. Change region to United States or Singapore

  3. Restart CapCut

  4. Try AI Media again

On PC

CapCut PC follows your account region:

  1. Log out of CapCut

  2. Use a VPN → set to US / Singapore / UAE / UK

  3. Log in again

  4. Open AI Media

Our community users have mentioned that styles show instantly once region changes.

2. Clear "Cache & Effects Cache"

This often fixes the loading issue.

On CapCut PC

  • Go to Settings → Cache → Clear All Cache

On Mobile

  • Go to CapCut → Settings → Clear Cache

  • Force Close

  • Reopen

3. Make sure you are logged in with the SAME account

Sometimes the AI tab won’t load if:

  • You are logged out

  • You switched between Apple/Google/TikTok login

  • You are using restricted “Guest Mode”

Log out → Log in again with your main account.

4. Disable Adblockers / Firewalls on your PC

CapCut AI tools require connection to:

  • ByteDance AI servers

  • TikTok login validation

If you are on PC:

  • Turn off Firewall temporarily

  • Disable VPN (unless used for region switching)

  • Disable any adblockers or DNS blockers

Restart CapCut.

5. Reinstall CapCut as mentioned below

A normal uninstall generally does not fix this.

Do the clean reinstall method:

PC:

  1. Uninstall CapCut

  2. Delete this folder manually:

    C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\CapCut
  3. Restart PC

  4. Install fresh from here

iPhone:

Delete → Reinstall
(Your projects stay in iCloud if sync is ON)

6. Try AI Video Generator from another location

Sometimes only one AI panel breaks.

Try the OTHER entry points:

Options to open AI Media:

  • Templates → AI Video

  • “AI Image” tab → switch to “Video”

  • Home → “AI Video Generator”

  • Effects → AI Effects (Beta)

  • Upload an image → “AI Enhance” → “Video Mode”

One of them may load styles even if the main one fails.

What if none of these fixes work?

Then the problem is 100% on CapCut’s servers, not your device.

The biggest clue: You said this started 3 days ago, and many users are reporting the same issue this week.

CapCut often rolls out:

  • Style updates

  • AI model upgrades

  • Server-side maintenance

During this, some users temporarily lose:

  • AI templates

  • AI Media

  • AI Characters

  • AI Photos

It usually comes back within 3–5 days.

If you need additional support, you can inform us:

  • Are you using PC, iPhone, or Android?

  • What country/region is your device set to?

  • Does AI Image Generator load, or is that blank too?
