Hi,

If your bank account was blocked after using or attempting a payment through CapCut, here are immediate steps you can take to resolve the issue quickly:

Step 1: Identify the cause

Common reasons your account may be blocked:

  • Suspicious transaction from CapCut (e.g., international billing).

  • Multiple failed payment attempts.

  • Your bank flagged a subscription as fraud.

  • You exceeded spending or security limits.

Step 2: Call your bank immediately

  • Use your bank’s customer care number (often printed on your debit/credit card or available on their official website/app).

  • Ask:

    • “Why is my account temporarily blocked or frozen?”

    • “Was there a payment flagged for CapCut or Bytedance?”

  • Verify your identity and request unblocking.

Step 3: Stop additional attempts on CapCut

  • Avoid retrying payment until your bank confirms your account is active.

  • This prevents your account from being permanently flagged.

Step 4: Retry payment safely (after Bank clears it)

Once your account is unblocked:

  • Go to CapCut → Profile → Settings → Subscription.

  • Choose your plan and use a verified payment method (debit/credit card or PayPal).

  • Consider using Google Pay / Apple Pay as a safer alternative.

Step 5: Contact CapCut support if needed

If your account was charged but the subscription didn’t activate:

  • Open the CapCut app → Tap “Feedback” in settings.

  • Attach screenshots of any payments or errors.

  • You can also email CapCut customer support: [email protected]

Tip:

If you're using an international card, some banks automatically block subscriptions to foreign platforms. Ask your bank to enable international or recurring payments.
