Hi,

We will list below the steps to resolve and to fix the CapCut “maximum login limit reached” / forced logout issue, even if you already logged out from all devices:

Fully log out from ALL devices using your TikTok account settings

If your CapCut account is linked to TikTok, logging out only inside CapCut isn’t enough.

Try this:

  1. Open TikTokProfile

  2. Tap (top right) → Settings and privacy

  3. Go to SecurityManage devices

  4. Remove every device listed

  5. Wait 5–10 minutes, then try logging in to CapCut again

Clear CapCut app data and not just cache

Sometimes CapCut stores old login states that cause repeated logout loops.

On Android:

  1. Go to SettingsAppsCapCut

  2. Tap Storage

  3. Tap Clear data + Clear cache

On iPhone:

You must reinstall the app:

  1. Delete CapCut

  2. Restart your phone

  3. Reinstall CapCut

  4. Try logging in again

Try logging in using a different method

If you normally use:

  • TikTok → try logging in with email/phone

  • Email → try logging in with TikTok or Facebook

This sometimes bypasses the “limit reached” error.

Change your password

CapCut may block login if it thinks your account is being accessed from many devices.

  1. Change your password for:

    • TikTok (if linked)

    • Email (optional but helpful)

Then try logging in again after 5 minutes.

Check whether cloud storage is causing the issue

CapCut cloud sync sometimes triggers login-limit errors.

Try turning off cloud backup:

  1. Log in (if possible)

  2. Go to SettingsCloud

  3. Toggle Cloud Sync OFF

Try logging in on another device temporarily

Use a different phone or PC via CapCut Web: https://www.capcut.com/login

If it works there, the problem is local to your device and clearing data or reinstalling will fix it.

If the problem started suddenly & persists for 24+ hours

Then it may be a server-side account lock, which happens when CapCut detects:

  • Too many login attempts

  • Too many linked devices

  • An automatic security lock

In this case, only CapCut support can reset your device count.

Contact CapCut support

Send them the message which you posted on this forum to the below email address. They will respond usually within 24-48 hrs.

CapCut Support:
[email protected]
Or inside the app: Settings → Help & Feedback → Report a problem

Also, tell us:

  • Are you logging in with TikTok, email, or something else?

  • Are you using CapCut on multiple devices?

We can give you a more exact fix based on your setup.
