Hi,

This issue where CapCut keeps asking you to “watch an ad to export” even after you’ve already watched it has been reported by CapCut users on this forum as well, especially in the free version on Android and PC.

Let us go step-by-step through all working fixes depending on your situation

Understand why it happens:

This bug usually appears because:

  • CapCut’s ad verification fails (server or cache issue).

  • You are offline or using a VPN / ad blocker.

  • You are exporting a Pro or premium template while using the free version.

  • There is a corrupted cache or version mismatch (common after app updates).

Step-by-step guide to fix the “Cannot export video / watch ad repeatedly” problem:

Step 1: Clear CapCut Cache inside the App

  1. Open CapCut.

  2. Tap Settings (⚙️) → scroll down → Clear cache → confirm.

  3. Close CapCut completely (remove it from recent apps).

  4. Reopen it and try exporting again.

If that doesn’t help, go deeper

Step 2: Clear System Cache and Data

  1. Go to your phone’s Settings → Apps → CapCut.

  2. Tap Storage & cache.

  3. Tap Clear cache, then Clear storage / data.

  4. Reopen CapCut and retry exporting.

Step 3: Check your Internet + Ad Loading

CapCut must confirm that you watched the ad:

  • Ensure strong, stable internet (Wi-Fi preferred).

  • Disable VPN / Ad blocker if any are active — they can block ad tracking.

  • Turn off Battery Saver mode (it can stop background verification).

Then:

  1. Try watching the ad again.

  2. Wait a few extra seconds after the ad finishes (sometimes CapCut needs that to verify).

  3. Then tap Export again.

Step 4: Duplicate the Project

Some projects get “stuck” with ad validation.

  • On the home screen, tap “…” → Duplicate.

  • Open the new copy → export it.
We have received reports that this works surprisingly often.

Step 5: Reinstall CapCut

  1. Uninstall CapCut completely.

  2. Restart your phone.

  3. Reinstall from the Google Play Store (official).

  4. Sign back into your CapCut account.

  5. Re-open your project → export again.

This refreshes your ad validation tokens and removes corrupted files.

Step 6: Check for Premium Template

If the project uses a diamond icon (🔹) next to filters, effects, or templates:

  • CapCut might allow “watch ad to export” but then fail repeatedly.

  • In that case, the feature requires CapCut Pro.

Fix:

Step 7: Try a “Resolution Refresh” Trick

A quick refresh sometimes helps:

  1. Go to the export page.

  2. Change resolution from 1080p → 720p.

  3. Tap Export once.

  4. Cancel it midway, change back to 1080p → export again.

This resets the export engine and often bypasses the ad loop.

Step 8: Log Out and Back In

  1. Go to Settings → Account → Log out.

  2. Close CapCut.

  3. Reopen → log back in → try again.

Step 9: Contact CapCut customer Support if it still fails

If none of these work:

  1. Go to Settings → Feedback.

  2. Or write an email to the support team: [email protected]
  3. Describe the issue (“Watched ad many times, cannot export video”).

  4. Attach a screen recording if possible.
CapCut support usually resolves these bugs within 24–48 hours.
