CapCut mentioned that the Team Plan allows up to 4 members per space, but when I checked the current Team Plan pricing, the cost increases with the number of users and starts from a minimum of 2 users. The annual price is around $160, and it says $6.70 per month per user.
I’m wondering how many members can actually use one space with the annual cost, and why the Team Plan price seems different from what was originally announced.
Hi,
-
The up to 4 members per space refers to one space under the Team plan tier, allowing up to 4 invites including the owner.
-
However, you will still need to purchase a certain minimum number of seats/users. The baseline Teams plan includes 2 seats and up to 4 invites but only two active seats.
-
The per-user pricing you see of US$6.70/mo per user ≈ US$80/year per user is for a smaller seat-count plan of 2-user Teams starter.
-
If you invite a collaborator but they don’t have a dedicated “seat”, they will be able to view but not have full Pro/Teams privileges (export at high quality, access premium assets, etc.).
-
How many members can actually use one space with the annual cost?
Up to 4 members (generally including the owner depending on how CapCut application does the counting) per space, under the standard Teams plan. But only as many as you have purchased “seats” for; if you only buy a 2-seat plan then only 2 can actively use full privileges. -
Why does the Team Plan price seem different from what was originally announced?
Because of one or more of these reasons:-
Regional pricing differences / currency conversion.
-
Different tiers of the Teams plan (2-user starter vs full 4-user teams).
-
Promotional/discounted pricing for early/adoption period.
-
Changes in the plan structure (CapCut may have revised their seat-based pricing, adding “per user” cost vs flat).
