Hello,

I am trying to purchase CapCut Teams with 2 seats. The only option I have available is 3 seats when I try to purchase this through my desktop. I see the option for 2 seats on my phone but for extenuating circumstances I can't purchase through my phone. Please see image below. How do I purchase Teams with 2 seats?

I have reached out to CapCut support via email, and they don't know anything and are brainless drones and tasked by China to make an app so essential be so impossible to use. They won't help me and have just all together stopped responding to my emails after 4 follow ups.

Hi,

CapCut Teams on desktop only shows plans starting at 3 seats ($35.99) and above, and there's no visible option for 2 seats in the dropdown. This is a known CapCut limitation.

  • CapCut's backend uses different storefronts for desktop vs. mobile.

  • Mobile (iOS/Android) shows a 2-seat option ($23.98 = $11.99 × 2).

  • Desktop enforces a minimum of 3 seats to push team adoption faster or due to a bug in the pricing UI.

  • Try logging into your account on the CapCut website and see if the 2-seat option is available there.

Workaround options

1. Use Android Emulator (if phone purchase is not possible)

Since you can't buy from your phone, here's an effective workaround:

  • Install BlueStacks or LDPlayer on your desktop.

  • Log into your CapCut account inside the emulator.

  • Open CapCut mobile app in the emulator (from Play Store).

  • Go to Me > Settings > Subscription > Teams Plan.

  • You should now see the 2-seat option and can pay using Google account billing.

2. Ask a trusted person with phone access

If you are working with a collaborator, have them:

  • Log in to your account via their phone (temporarily).

  • Subscribe to the 2-seat plan from the app.

  • Once done, you can log out from their device.

3. Contact CapCut billing via TikTok for Business

CapCut is owned by ByteDance (TikTok's parent), and billing queries are often resolved faster via:

Yes, CapCut's support is slow and mostly form-response based, especially for technical or billing issues. CapCut prioritize TikTok Business clients over individual users.
