Hello everyone,
on this thread i want to ask about license (paid) ones.
the question was, can i buy license then use it on multiple devices?
the need is we had some type of small business which we had some PC on office that slow, and we also had our own devices (laptop)
so i planning to use that with the licence when editing video. can we do that?
with 1 licence?. or we only locked on 1 licence each devices?
somehow i want to dig more about the legal ones since now we're using the pirated version lol
and somehow after long discussion, the license seems proven to be good since we can do almost anything and its beyond our expectation. thats why we plan to buy the original ones now
Hi,
Yes, you can purchase a CapCut Pro license and use it seamlessly across multiple devices—but there's an important caveat: it's designed for single-user use only.
Multiple Devices? Yes
You can log into CapCut Pro using the same account on any combination of devices (mobile, desktop, and web) that you personally own—Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, browser—without extra cost.
CapCut Pro Subscriptions and Multi-Device Use: CapCut Pro plans often allow for use on multiple devices. It can be used up to 5 devices, which includes PC and web versions.
Cloud Syncing: A key benefit of CapCut Pro is its cloud storage and syncing capabilities. This allows you to start a project on one device (e.g., your phone) and seamlessly continue editing it on another (e.g., your computer) by accessing your saved projects in the cloud.
Account Sharing: While you can log into your CapCut Pro account on multiple devices, there can be issues if multiple people try to use the same account simultaneously. It's generally advised to coordinate usage if you're sharing an account with others to avoid conflicts.
Specifics Vary: The exact number of devices or the specifics of multi-device use might vary slightly depending on the region, the specific Pro plan, and whether you're using the mobile app, desktop app, or web version.
Multiple Users? Not Okay
Sharing your account with others (e.g., teammates, family) violates the terms of service and could lead to access issues or account suspension. The subscription isn’t a family or team license.
Terms of Service: Always review CapCut's official Terms of Service for the most up-to-date and precise information regarding their subscription plans and device limitations.
"Shared" Accounts: Be wary of unofficial "shared" CapCut Pro accounts offered by third parties, as these might have different terms or be against CapCut's policies, potentially leading to account issues. It's best to subscribe directly through CapCut.
Team or Office Use
For multiple users in a work setting:
-
Each person needs their own CapCut Pro subscription, OR
-
Opt for a Teams or business/volume license offered by CapCut, which includes collaborative features and centralized management.

Real-World Use
Signing into the same account across devices activates Pro features on all of them. However, you can face trouble if the login isn’t done properly requiring a full logout/login or even using QR-code-based login to sync devices.
CapCut Pro is designed with multi-device use in mind, primarily facilitated by its cloud syncing features, allowing you to access and edit your projects across different platforms.
