Slide Left/Right/Up/Down animations missing

Anybody who are currently having this issue you should try to use VPN and connect to Singapore. I feel like it will take sometime for them to fix the issue and push an Update for the users.  So for now you should try to work around this shit for a while.  I assume for some reason the server dedicated to some regions do not have this Slide animation assets and that why App cant really load them.  I used Turbo VPN (not sure how secure it is it has a lot of countries to connect to im getting suspicious about it. they might be using third party severs) I have tried a lot of countries until i found out the singapore works and this VPN i can use 7 day free trial. You can find another one if you can. Just delete the cash of the CapCut Desktop app and close it, connect to vpn, and open the capcut and check the animations window

Im a pro user and feel like you guys don't even bother to fix this stuff isn't it. It been a more than one week and this issue is still there. All the tricks with VPN, Cache etc they are all just a temporary solutions they just work for day or two.  Its clearly you have some issue from you backend. There are so many people having similar issue and you don't even bother to make some statement about this. I even sent 3 Issue reports within an app and still haven't received any message back. its been like one and half week and I missing some important deadlines. Cant even go to another app cuz i had some important huge edits and Cant just transfer them to Davinci or whatever. At this point what are we paying for? Im so frustrated right now.

Ok the VPN trick only worked for day one. issue  with missing core slide animation as well as other core animations wasn't solved . All the suggested tricks, if they for some reason work out, are just temporary solutions that don't solve the core issue. The core issue here is that You guys clearly have some bug in your backend and it seems like you guys don't even bother to fix it. Its been like more than a week and you haven't made any official statement regarding this issue. The issue is still there. There are so many people being effected by this from all over the world. I missed some important deadlines because of this. I cant even move on to other app to continue my project because its just to big to  start over from the scratch in another app. At this point what are we even paying for ?  I have even sent multiple issue reports within capcut app and still haven't received any response. Im so frustrated and angry right now just like all the users who pay for the app and stuck with this issue with no clear way to solve it or clear response when it will be solved. At this point it seems like we are stuck with this issue for a long time.

The fact that the VPN trick worked for a day and then stopped, and the animations are still applied but show as "none," points to a persistent and intermittent bug within CapCut itself, or a dynamic server-side update issue.

Since the usual quick fixes (restart, clear cache, VPN) are no longer consistently working, we need to consider more persistent solutions and direct action:

Recap of the Problem:

  • Animations disappeared: "Slide Left/Right/Up/Down" are gone from the list.
  • Existing animations still work: This is key – the functionality is there, but the display and selection options are not.
  • "None" shown in animation tab: Reinforces the display/loading issue.
  • VPN workaround failed: Suggests a more complex, possibly regional or server-side problem that the VPN temporarily bypassed, or it was a coincidence.

Next Steps and More In-Depth Troubleshooting:

  1. Deep CapCut Cache and Data Clear (More Aggressive):

    • Close CapCut completely. Make sure it's not running in the background.
    • Manually delete CapCut's cache and temporary files. The exact location depends on your operating system (Windows or macOS).
      • Windows: Look in C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\CapCut and C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming\CapCut. Delete the contents of these folders (or the folders themselves if you're comfortable). Be cautious when deleting AppData contents, but for app-specific cache, it's generally safe.

    • Sometimes CapCut moves animations into different categories or renames them. Spend some time meticulously Browse all animation categories, even "Combo," "In," and "Out" animations, to see if they've been relocated or renamed. It's a long shot, but worth checking every nook and cranny.
    • If you're using specific animation "packs" or templates, check if those packs themselves are missing or need to be re-downloaded within CapCut.
  3. Test with a New Project:

    • Create a brand new, simple project. Add a basic element (like a text box or a simple image).
    • Check if the "Slide Left/Right/Up/Down" animations appear for this new element in a fresh project. If they do, it might indicate an issue specific to your existing project files.

If there's an issue with their servers or your connection to specific content delivery networks, certain assets might not load.
  • The VPN temporarily changing your network path might have bypassed a problematic server, but then that path became problematic again, or the server-side issue widened.
  • User Profile Corruption: Less common, but your specific user profile data on CapCut's servers or locally might have become corrupted, causing the app to incorrectly display available features for your account.

This is clearly a bug at CapCut's end. You can try a thorough cache clear, a new project test, and most importantly, persistent communication with CapCut's official support. They are the only ones who can truly diagnose and fix server-side or deep application issues.

Every version is getting worse than the previous one. Features disappeared, and the app is slower, but they are increasing the subscription fee recently is solid proof that they don't care about the quality of the software; they just want our money.

@admin You should stop mix animations and effects randomly every time. It is so annoying! In effects we can at least search for an effect by it's name, but in animations and captions there is no such option. I always spend a half an hour to find an animation or caption I used last time, because it is always changes its position.. Really freaking annoying. Please add search for animations and captions. Thanks!

Suggesting a manual approach is not understandable. If basic animations like Slide Up is not coming soon, I will switch to another application.
