Hello,
We are a company currently subscribed to CapCut Pro.
We are considering subscribing to the Teams plan for collaborative editing.
We have a few questions:

  • Is there an additional cost for the Teams plan separate from the Pro plan subscription?

  • If we subscribe to the Teams plan, do we still need to continue paying for the Pro plan?

  • Does the Teams plan apply only to a specified space? Is the maximum number of users per space 4? If we want to use it with 10 users, what options do we have?

  • Can one representative subscribe to the Teams plan for 10 users under a single space?

We would appreciate your guidance on these questions.
Thank you very much in advance.

Hi,

Here is what you need to know regarding your CapCut Pro → Teams Plan questions:

1. Is there an additional cost for the Teams Plan separate from the Pro plan?

Yes. The Teams Plan is a distinct upgrade that includes everything in the Pro Plan plus collaboration tools and shared cloud space. It costs US $24.99/month or US $214.99/year.
→ You pay for the Teams Plan itself—not merely an add‑on to an existing Pro plan.

2. If we subscribe to the Teams Plan, do we still need to continue paying for Pro?

No. Once you subscribe to the Teams Plan, it replaces the need for individual Pro subscriptions. The Teams Plan already includes all Pro features, so you don’t need separate Pro plans for each user.

3. Does the Teams Plan apply only to a specified space? Is the maximum number of users per space 4?

CapCut uses a “space” mechanism as follows:

  • By default, each space can invite up to 4 members (including the creator)—that is the limit at the space level, even with Pro or Teams.

  • The Teams Plan unlocks multiple spaces and better sharing, but within each space, you cannot exceed the 4-user cap.

  • Therefore, one space supports up to 4 users, maximum.

4. If we want to use it with 10 users, what options do we have?

To get editing access for 10 users:

  • Create multiple spaces, each holding up to 4 members. For 10 users, you’d need at least 3 spaces (e.g. two spaces with 4 users, one with 2), all under the Teams Plan.

  • CapCut allows each user to create up to 3 spaces per account. That structure supports up to 12 users (if configured well across spaces), but note workflow may require coordination across distinct spaces.

5. Can one representative subscribe to Teams Plan for 10 users under a single space?

No — a single space cannot hold more than 4 members, regardless of plan. So even if one person subscribes for Teams, you’ll need multiple spaces to cover 10 users. That representative can manage all spaces centrally under one Teams subscription (alongside the invited users), but you’ll still split into separate spaces.

Summary Table

Question Answer
Cost of Teams vs Pro? Teams Plan is a separate higher‑tier subscription (US $24.99/mo).
Need to keep paying Pro? No — Teams includes all Pro features, so separate Pro payments aren’t needed.
Space user limit? Up to 4 users per space (including creator).
Supporting 10 users? Use multiple spaces under one Teams plan.
Single space for 10 users possible? No — not supported, limit remains at 4 per space.

Additional Notes & Tips

  • Admin vs Collaborator Roles: Invited users can be assigned Admin (manage/edit all) or Collaborator (only own videos) roles within each space.

  • Single-person editing rule: Only one person can actively edit a given draft at a time—others can view or await turn.

  • If the Teams Plan option doesn’t appear in your subscription workflow, you can contact CapCut sales team to enable it manually
