I'm currently having issues regarding the Media animation (in/out) on the PC App, there are some animations that are missing, the main ones such as "zoom in" "left" "right" "top" "bottom" etc.. these are essential animations for the editing software and I'm a Pro subscriber.

Hi,

Basic Media animations like "Zoom In", "Left", "Right", "Top", and "Bottom" are core to smooth content editing, and they should be available by default for CapCut PC and Pro subscribers.

Let us troubleshoot why they are missing:

Step-by-Step fixes for missing media animations on CapCut PC:

1. Switch to the Correct Animation Tab

Sometimes, users land on the wrong animation category. CapCut has:

  • In

  • Out

  • Combo

Make sure you're checking under “In” or “Out” tabs (not just “Combo”) under the “Animation” section.

2. Check your internet connection

Many of the default animations in CapCut load dynamically — if you're offline or on a slow connection, some may not show up.

  • Try switching networks or using a mobile hotspot.

  • Close CapCut > Reopen with good internet > Check again.

3. Force refresh the animation library

CapCut sometimes gets stuck in a cached state. Here’s a workaround:

  1. Close CapCut completely.

  2. Clear cache manually:

    • Navigate to:

      C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\CapCut
    • Delete the Cache folder (don’t worry, your projects won’t be lost).

  3. Reopen CapCut and recheck the Media > Animation section.

4. Ensure you are using the Right Panel (Not Keyframes or Overlay)

Animations only show for media clips, not overlays or certain elements. Here is a quick checklist:

  • Select a main media clip in the timeline (not a sticker/text/overlay).

  • Then go to Animation > In or Out.

5. Sign Out & Sign Back into your Pro Account

There might be a temporary account mismatch.

  1. In CapCut, click on your profile icon (top-right).

  2. Sign out, then sign back in using your Pro account email or Apple ID.

  3. Recheck if the full animation list appears.

6. Reinstall CapCut (Clean Install)

If all else fails, do a clean reinstall:

  1. Uninstall CapCut via Windows Settings.

  2. Delete these folders if they still exist:

    C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\CapCut
    C:\Users\<YourUsername>\Documents\CapCut
  3. Re-download latest version from the official site:
    https://www.capcut.com/tools/video-editor

Before reinstalling:

  • Export any unfinished project folders from Documents\CapCut to back them up.

  • Note down your login credentials.

Alternative Quick Fix

Sometimes animations like “Zoom In” are also found in Keyframes + Scale/Position adjustments.

If it's urgent, try:

  • Add a keyframe at the start.

  • Increase Scale gradually to simulate Zoom In.

  • Similarly, shift Position X or Y to simulate Left/Right/Top/Bottom moves.

Still Not Working?

Let us know:

  1. Your CapCut PC version (Go to Settings > About).

  2. Whether you’re using Windows 10 or 11.

  3. Whether this issue happens in new or existing projects.

We will guide you further.

Contacting CapCut customer Support:

  • If none of these steps work, the issue may be a bug that needs to be addressed by the CapCut team directly. As a Pro subscriber, you should have access to dedicated customer support. You can contact CapCut at [email protected] to report the issue.

  • Be sure to include details about your Pro subscription, the animations that are missing, and any troubleshooting steps you've already taken.
