Capcut effect Sulation

Hi,

This issue is actually becoming quite common among CapCut users lately, especially after recent app updates (both PC and mobile). But do not worry as we are going to tell you what is going on and the exact steps you can try to fix it

What is happening?

When you say the “Solution” effect and “Shaking animation 1” disappeared:

• It means CapCut’s effect and animation library is not fully loading from the server.

• This often happens due to:

  1. A region mismatch (CapCut’s servers deliver different effect sets per country).

  2. A temporary bug in the new app version (CapCut has been removing and reassigning effect IDs recently).

  3. Or a login / sync error — especially if you were logged out or reinstalled.

Step-by-Step Fix

1. Confirm You are Logged Into the Same Account

• Open CapCut → Me (Profile).

• Make sure you are logged into the same CapCut or TikTok account you used yesterday.

• Some effects and animations are tied to the account region if you were logged out, CapCut defaults to a limited library.

2. Switch Server Region via VPN or App Settings

Many effects like “Solution” were originally part of CapCut’s China / Singapore / US servers and may not appear in some regions after updates.

Try this:

1. Close CapCut completely.

2. Turn on a VPN (try connecting to Singapore or United States).

3. Reopen CapCut → Effects → Video Effects → “Basic” or “Trending”.

4. Wait 30–60 seconds for effects to reload.

If they appear — it’s a region restriction issue. You can continue using VPN whenever applying those effects.

3. Re-Download the Effect Library

• Go to any clip → open Effects → Video Effects → Basic / Trending.

• Scroll to the very bottom and click “Manage Effects”.

• Click on Restore All Effects or delete and re-download the categories.
  (This forces CapCut to fetch new metadata for missing effects.)

4. Use the “Effect ID” Trick for CapCut PC

If you are on CapCut PC:

• Sometimes the UI hides effects, but they still exist via internal ID.

• Try downloading an older project (.capcutproj) where you used “Solution”.

• Open it → right-click the clip → check the Effect ID or open in text editor.

• CapCut may auto-restore the missing effect when loading the project.

5. Downgrade CapCut as a Temporary Fix

If none of the above works:

• Uninstall your CapCut.

• Download CapCut earlier versions from our website. Do not worry since all links are checked and are safe to download.

• Install any earlier version of your choice (disable auto-updates).

• Reopen your project — the missing effects must now reappear.

• We have received many feedback that “Solution” effect disappeared in versions ≥12.3.0, but reappears in 12.2.0 or older. So you can use any earlier versions.

6. Contact CapCut Support

Inside CapCut → Settings → Feedback → report:

• You can email CapCut support at [email protected]
• Solution effect and Shaking animation 1 missing after update used to work fine before reinstall.

Attach a short video or screenshot of your old project.
CapCut support will usually fix this in the next patch if enough users report it.
