Where I’m from, there aren’t many good templates or presets. I usually connect my VPN to Germany, but I’ve noticed the options change depending on the country. Anyone know which region gives the most variety?

There is no official list from CapCut that says “Country X has the most templates/presets/etc.”, but from reports + our independent research, we can suggest which regions tend to have more features/templates. We will share some tips, so you can test what works best for you.
What CapCut users have noticed (based on our research)

Some templates, effects, “Pro features”, subtitle animations, and auto‐captions are locked in certain regions. Users outside certain countries/or without “Pro” see fewer options.

The “Template Creator” program (to publish templates) is officially available only in certain countries: US, UK, Germany, France, Canada, and some Asian countries like Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan.

East/Southeast Asian countries (Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan) often get style / filter / template options earlier or more extensively.

Also, US / UK regions seem to have many of the “Pro” assets or newest releases.
Which countries/regions we suggest trying via VPN
Based on the above, these seem like good bets if you want access to more templates, subtitles, presets, etc.:

What you might try & test
Since you’re already using Germany and you still want more, here are strategies + likely better regions to test via VPN:

Try US — many users say switching to USA unlocked more templates, Pro content, subtitle styles.

Japan — might give access to more style presets, especially for filters, animations, aesthetic content.

Southeast Asia (e.g. Philippines, Indonesia) — good chance for more user-created templates.
When you test:

Clear app cache / reinstall after changing VPN/region settings, sometimes that helps refresh what assets are allowed.

Make sure the VPN you’re using is reliable and recognized (fewer leaks), so CapCut doesn’t detect you’re outside.

Use a newly created account or logout/login, because sometimes region of original account sticks.
