I need to put a really tiny A text in a specific place, but since its too small I stop seeing the A due to the buttons near it. Is there any way to zoom without cropping the video and keeping the A on the specific place with its tiny size to be able to place it right?

Hi,

Yes there is a way to do this in CapCut without changing the actual video or the text’s final size/position. What you need is the Preview Zoom (sometimes called “Canvas Zoom” or “Editor Zoom”), which only zooms in on the workspace preview as it won’t crop or affect your exported video.

Here is how you can do it depending on your device:

On CapCut PC (Windows/Mac)

  1. Look at the preview window (where your video shows).

  2. At the bottom or top-right corner of the preview, you should see a zoom percentage dropdown (like Fit, 25%, 50%, 100%, 200% etc.).

  3. Increase it to 200% or 400% → this only zooms the preview.

  4. Now you can move your tiny “A” text very precisely into place.

  5. Once placed, you can zoom the preview back out to normal (Fit/100%).

On CapCut Mobile (iPhone/Android)

  1. Use two fingers to pinch and zoom on the preview video (just like zooming in on a photo).

  2. This zooms only the editing canvas, not the final video.

  3. Move the tiny text “A” into the exact position you want.

  4. Pinch out again to return to normal view.

This way, your “A” will stay tiny and in the correct position in the final export and you are just magnifying the workspace so you can place it more easily.
