Hi CapCut team,

I can't create a new account in the CapCut application. The message "Sorry, we can't create your account at this time" appears.

I've tried several times and used different networks, but it still doesn't work.

Please help me so I can log in or create a new account.

That error message — “Sorry, we can't create your account at this time” — usually points to one of the following issues in the CapCut app:

Here are the most common causes and solutions:

  • Use a Different Sign-Up Method
    • Try another method to create an account:
      • If you're using email, try Google, Facebook, TikTok, or Apple ID (on iOS).
      • If using a social login, switch to email or another platform.
  • Update or Reinstall the App
    • Make sure CapCut is updated to the latest version via the App Store or Google Play.
    • If already up-to-date, try deleting and reinstalling the app.
    • Tip: Reinstalling won't delete projects if you're not logged in to a cloud account — but to be safe, back up exported versions of any local edits.
  • Change Your Device Region Temporarily
    • Sometimes account creation fails due to regional restrictions or server issues.
    • On iOS:
      • Go to Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → View Account → Country/Region.
      • Temporarily set it to United States or United Kingdom.
    • On Android: Use a VPN to simulate another country (like the US) and then try signing up.
  • Clear App Cache (Android Only)
    • Go to Settings → Apps → CapCut → Storage → Clear Cache.
    • Then re-open the app and try signing up.

  • Go to CapCut’s official site:

  • Choose a Sign-Up Method

      • Facebook
      • Apple ID
      • Email

  • Complete the Sign-Up Steps

  • After Signing Up Successfully
