Hi,

You are having trouble finding the "Script to video" feature in the CapCut app on your Android phone. This feature, which allows you to generate a video from text using AI, is available in CapCut, but its location or availability can sometimes vary.

Here is what you should know and what you can try:

Where to find the "Script to video" feature:

The "Script to video" feature is located on the main screen of the CapCut app when you first open it. It will be displayed prominently as an AI tool or a specific project option. Look for  "Script to video," "Text to video," or a section related to AI tools.

Possible reasons why the "Script to video" button is not showing:

  • App Version: You might not have the latest version of CapCut installed. Newer features like "Script to video" are rolled out in app updates.
  • Regional Availability: Some features might be rolled out gradually to different regions. It's possible the feature is not yet available in your location.
  • App Glitch or Data Issue: Temporary issues with the app data or a minor glitch could cause features to not display correctly.
  • App Interface Changes: CapCut's interface can change with updates, and the location of features might have moved in your recent update.
  • Server-Side Changes: As an online-dependent feature, its visibility will be controlled from CapCut's servers and could be temporarily unavailable.

Troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Update CapCut: Go to the Google Play Store and check if there is an update available for CapCut. If there is, download and install it. Get latest version for Android from here.
  2. Restart the App: Close CapCut completely and then reopen it. This can sometimes resolve minor display issues.
  3. Clear App Cache: Go to your phone's Settings > Apps (or Application Manager) > CapCut > Storage > Clear Cache. This removes temporary files that might be causing problems. (Note: Do NOT clear data, as this might delete your projects).
  4. Use a VPN: If regional restrictions are the issue, consider using a VPN to connect to a region where the feature is available, such as the United States or the United Kingdom.
  5. Restart Your Phone: A simple phone restart can often fix various app-related issues.
  6. Check Internet Connection: Ensure you have a stable internet connection, as the "Script to video" feature likely requires online access.
  7. Reinstall CapCut: If none of the above work, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the CapCut app. Make sure to back up any important projects beforehand if possible, although local projects are usually preserved.
  8. Look for "AI Tools" or "Magic Tools": The feature might be nested within a section dedicated to AI-powered tools. Explore the different options on the main screen and within the project editing interface.
  9. Feature Availability: CapCut's "Script to Video" is primarily available on the desktop version and the web platform. Try using CapCut on PC or on the web.

  10. Sign In to Your Account: Ensure you're logged into your CapCut or TikTok account, as some features are only available to signed-in users.

By trying these steps, you should hopefully be able to locate or restore the "Script to video" functionality in your CapCut app.
