Dear CapCut Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I recently subscribed to CapCut, but I accidentally selected the annual plan instead of the monthly plan, which was my original intention. This was an honest mistake, and I noticed the charge only after the transaction was completed.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could cancel the annual subscription and process a refund, as I only wish to subscribe for one month at this time.

Hi,

If you accidentally subscribed to the annual plan instead of the monthly plan in CapCut, you may be able to get a refund or change your subscription plan—but the process depends on where you made the purchase. Here is what you should do based on how you subscribed:

If You Subscribed via the App Store (iPhone/iPad):

  1. Go to Apple’s Report a Problem website.

  2. Sign in with your Apple ID.

  3. Locate the CapCut subscription charge.

  4. Click "Report a Problem" → choose "I didn’t intend to purchase this" or similar.

  5. Submit the refund request.

Apple generally handles all billing and refund requests independently of CapCut. Refunds are usually granted if the request is made within a few days of purchase.

If You Subscribed via the Google Play Store (Android):

  1. Open the Google Play website or the Play Store app.

  2. Go to "Order History" and find the CapCut subscription.

  3. Tap "Request a refund" or go to Google’s refund request form.

  4. Choose the reason for your request (e.g., accidental purchase).

Google typically processes refund requests within 48 hours.
