Hi,

The "Father Christmas" or "Santa Claus" voice is a popular text-to-speech option, so it's understandable that you would want to use it.

Step-by-Step: How to Check for the "Father Christmas" Narrator Voice

1. Open the Text-to-Speech Tool

  • Go to CapCut (Mobile or PC).

  • Add any text using Text > Add Text.

  • Tap on the text > scroll right > tap Text-to-Speech (TTS) or Voiceover.

2. Check Available Voices

  • CapCut has different voice packs based on:

    • Your region or country

    • Your app version

    • Whether you're using CapCut Mobile (Android/iOS) or PC/Mac

    • The "Father Christmas" voice is usually a seasonal voice — mostly available around December (Christmas season) or in special promotions.

Here are some of the reasons it is not showing up in CapCut and what you can do about it:

1. Regional Availability or Language Settings:

  • CapCut's text-to-speech voices and features can vary depending on your region and the language you have selected in the app.

  • The "Father Christmas" or "Santa Claus" voice is associated with the English language. If your app is set to a different language, that specific voice may not appear.

  • What to do: Check your CapCut app's language settings and make sure they are set to English.

    • Try changing the app language (Settings > Language > English US/UK).
    • Use a VPN and set it to the US or UK to see if more voices appear.

2. App Updates and Changes:

  • CapCut frequently updates its features, and sometimes voices are added, removed, or changed. A specific voice might have been a limited-time option or moved to a different category.

  • What to do:

    • Make sure your CapCut app is fully updated to the latest version. New versions often bring new features and fixes. Go to Play Store / App Store (for mobile) or capcut.com (for PC/Mac).

    • Search the app for "Santa" or "Christmas" in the text-to-speech section. It might be under a different name or in a different category now. Try:

      • “Santa”
      • “Old Man”
      • “Holiday Narrator”

3. The Feature was moved or changed to a "Pro" Feature:

  • CapCut has a premium subscription tier called "CapCut Pro." Sometimes, popular features and effects are moved to the pro version with every new update.

  • What to do: Check if the voice has a "Pro" badge next to it. If so, you would need to subscribe to CapCut Pro to access it.

4. Different App Versions (Desktop vs. Mobile):

  • The features available in CapCut's desktop app can be different from the mobile version.

  • What to do: If you are on a PC, try the mobile app (or vice versa) to see if the voice is available there.

If, after trying these steps, you still can't find the voice, it may have been temporarily removed or is not available in your region. In that case, you might consider using an external text-to-speech generator and then importing the audio file into your CapCut project.

5. Use a Third-Party TTS Tool as a Workaround

  • If it's not available anymore:

    • Try using ElevenLabs, FakeYou, or Uberduck to generate audio in a Santa-like voice.

    • Download the MP3 and import it into CapCut.

If you’re on PC and using the Teams or Pro version, your voice options may differ from mobile — test on both platforms.

  5. Download the generated audio and import it into CapCut.
