Lost makeup options

Hi,

This is a known issue in CapCut PC after the recent updates: many users have reported that their makeup filters (labial, sombras, definición, pecas, etc.) are missing or heavily reduced, leaving only 1–3 options.

Here are some fixes and checks you can try:

Possible fixes for missing makeup options in CapCut PC

1. Switch Region/Language

   • CapCut sometimes hides certain AI filters (like makeup) depending on your app region or language.

   • Go to Settings → General → Language and try switching to English (US) or another region.

   • Restart CapCut and check if more makeup options appear.

2. Check Login & Plan

   • Make sure you’re logged into the same CapCut account you used before updating.

   • Some advanced AI makeup options are linked to Pro/AI features and if your account isn’t synced, they won’t show.

3. Clear Cache / Reinstall

   • Go to Settings → Clear Cache inside CapCut PC.

   • If that doesn’t help, uninstall and reinstall the app.

   • When reinstalling, download from the official CapCut site, not Microsoft Store (the store version can sometimes be stripped-down).

4. Try CapCut Mobile or Web

   • Sometimes features disappear on desktop but remain available on mobile or web.capcut.com.

   • You can apply makeup there and then sync the project to PC.

5. Roll Back Version

   • If none of the above works, the update itself likely removed those styles.

   • Solution: uninstall the new version and install an older CapCut PC version (before the update). Many users regained their lost filters this way.

Unfortunately, in some regions CapCut has been removing or reducing free makeup filters and shifting them into Pro/AI features. If so, the only solutions are rolling back or using mobile/web.
