I am a frequent user of CapCut for my video content creation. I truly appreciate the features your platform offers, especially the text-to-speech functionality.

I regularly use the “Maxime” voice available on the mobile version of CapCut for my projects. However, I noticed that this voice is not currently available on the desktop version of the app. Since I primarily work on PC, not having access to the “Maxime” voice on desktop limits the consistency and efficiency of my workflow.

I kindly ask how to integrate the “Maxime” voice into the desktop version of CapCut. This addition would be extremely helpful for me and likely for other users as well.

Hi,

As of now, CapCut Desktop does not offer the full range of text-to-speech (TTS) voices that are available on the mobile version, including the popular "Maxime" voice. Unfortunately, CapCut hasn't provided a direct way to add or sync these mobile-exclusive voices to the desktop version.

However, here are three workarounds you can use to keep using "Maxime" on your PC projects:

Workaround 1: Use CapCut mobile to generate the voice, then transfer to Desktop

  1. Open CapCut Mobile.

  2. Create a new project or open an existing one.

  3. Use the Text-to-Speech feature and select "Maxime".

  4. Export only the audio or a short video clip with the voice.

  5. Transfer the file to your PC (via AirDrop, cloud storage, or cable).

  6. Import the audio into your CapCut Desktop project and sync it.

  7. This is the most reliable way to get the exact "Maxime" voice.

Best for maintaining voice consistency while editing on desktop.

Workaround 2: Use online CapCut (CapCut web)

  1. Visit CapCut Web Editor.

  2. Upload your text or video project.

  3. Use the Text-to-Speech tool — the web version sometimes includes voices not present in the desktop app.

  4. Look for "Maxime" — generate and export the voice.

  5. Download the audio and use it in your desktop project.

Voice availability can vary, but it’s worth checking.

Workaround 3: Request CapCut developers to add “Maxime” to desktop

Since you’re a regular user and this affects your workflow, you can:

  • Use the “Feedback” button in the CapCut Desktop app.

  • Or email CapCut developers at [email protected]

Mention how valuable “Maxime” is to your creative process. The more requests they receive, the more likely they are to add it.

In the meanwhile..

Use an External Text-to-Speech Generator:

  • If you can find an online or desktop text-to-speech tool that offers a voice similar to "Maxime" (or a voice you're happy with), you can generate your audio there.
  • Export the audio (usually as an MP3 or WAV file).
  • Import this audio file into CapCut Desktop and use it in your video.

While it's not a direct "add voice" function, using the mobile app to generate the audio and then importing it into your desktop project is currently the most practical solution to continue using the "Maxime" voice for your content.
