Hi,

Here’s why Nandez’s and Adam’s voices aren’t appearing in CapCut’s PC AI video creator and what you can try to fix it:

  1. Voices get changed or removed by CapCut
CapCut regularly updates its text-to-speech (TTS) voice library. Some voices including popular ones like Adam, Alex, Natasha, or custom characters can disappear temporarily or permanently after an update or backend change. CapCut doesn’t always announce these changes, so voices may just be gone or moved to a different list.

  2. Regional limitations / voice availability
CapCut may show only a subset of voices based on your region or language settings. Some voices are only available in certain countries if your app detects a region where they aren’t supported, those voices won’t show up.

  3. Version Mismatch
If your CapCut PC app isn’t up to date, or if the new voice library was added in a later version, older installations simply won’t list the voices.

  4. CapCut Experimentation / Backend Tweaks
CapCut sometimes removes and then reintroduces voices while improving its AI or optimizing server performance. This can make some voices temporarily unavailable.

How to try to get them back

Update CapCut

Make sure you are running the latest PC version. Updates often bring new voices back or reorganize the selection.

Check region & language settings

  • Switch your app language to English (US) or a region where voices like “Adam” were popular.

  • If available, try changing your account region inside CapCut.

  • You can use a VPN set to the US to force voice availability but this isn’t guaranteed.

Look in different voice categories

When you use Text-to-Speech, CapCut sometimes organizes voices into categories (e.g., “English”, “Character”, “Narrator”). Your missing voice might be under another category you haven’t expanded.

Clear Cache or Reinstall

On PC:

  • Delete CapCut’s cache (Settings → App data).

  • Or uninstall and reinstall CapCut — sometimes the voice list refreshes.

Use CapCut Web or Mobile

Sometimes CapCut Web/Desktop and mobile have different voice availability. If a voice is missing on PC, check the online/web version or the mobile app — sometimes it’s still available there.

If voices were permanently removed

Some voices might not ever return if CapCut retired them or changed licensing. If that’s the case:

Workaround: Use External TTS + Import

You can generate the voice you want with a dedicated AI voice tool (e.g., ElevenLabs, Play.ht, Murf) and import the audio into CapCut manually and this gives you much more control and preserves voices CapCut removed.

  • Voices are removed or restricted by CapCut without notice.

  • Region settings hide certain voices.

  • App version may not support the newest voice list.

If you can tell us what region/language your CapCut app is set to, and we can guide you if the voices will be available or not.
