Hello,
I have a Team subscription with two seats.
When uploading the videos to the space, the other person is not able to see these videos. If I share them as a link, the link is invalid.
I have removed the person from the team and then tried re adding them but they get an error message and so cannot join the team.
At this point I am paying for a teams subscription and not getting any benefit from it.
Could you please advise?
Hi,
Below is a breakdown of what is going wrong with your CapCut Team subscription issues and what you can try to fix them.
What Team plan should do in CapCut?
With a CapCut Teams plan:
-
You can create a shared space (Teamspace) and invite members.
-
Members in the same Teamspace should be able to see videos/projects stored there across devices.
-
You can also export and share links viewable by team members only, or publicly (Everyone).
Why your teammate can’t see videos
1. They Might Not Be In The Same Teamspace
Even if they are on the Teams subscription, CapCut requires each person to accept an invitation and join the exact Teamspace with the same email/account to see shared content.
Ask your teammate to log out and log back in with the same email address you used to invite them before. Often people end up logged in with a different account (Google/Apple/etc.).
2. The Invitation Link Has Expired or Is Invalid
When the invitation link to join a Teamspace expires or doesn’t work, users get an error like “unable to join.” These glitches have been seen by others too who have reported on our forum, and it’s not always obvious why the link fails.
Fix suggestions:
-
Send a new invitation link.
-
Try inviting via email invite (entered in CapCut) instead of link.
3. Link Sharing Settings May Restrict Access
When you share a video:
-
If the privacy is set to “Space only”, only people already in that space can view.
-
If it’s set to “Everyone”, it should open without needing CapCut login.
So if your share link says “invalid,” it might simply be set to partner/team only and the other person isn’t properly in the Teamspace.
Why Re-adding them doesn’t work
Our forum members have reported that:
-
Even after removing and re-adding a member, CapCut sometimes throws an error trying to join the space or won’t let them re-enter the Teamspace.
This is an issue with CapCut’s invitation/join flow itself not something you are doing wrong.
What You Should Try
Basic Troubleshooting
-
Ensure correct CapCut sign-in: They must be signed in with the same email account you invited.
-
Send a fresh invite: Preferably both via link and email invite from the Teamspace settings.
-
Check share settings: When copying a video link, make sure it is set to “Everyone” if you want external access.
Use Web/Desktop First
Sometimes CapCut’s mobile app has bugs with Teams invites.
Try:
-
Logging into CapCut on the web or desktop
-
Creating/inviting the member there
This sometimes works better than mobile invitations.
If All Else Fails — Contact Support
As a paying customer for a Teams plan and unable to use the core feature (sharing projects with another user) this is something CapCut support will respond to.
When contacting support:
-
Include screenshots of your Teamspace members list.
-
Include screenshots of the errors (invalid link / cannot join).
-
Ask specifically for help with Teamspace invites and link permissions.
There isn’t a direct phone support; so you should use:
-
In-app support/help request
-
Or by writing an email to [email protected]
Due to reported instances where others have had no solution for months, contacting support is the right step for a refund or escalation if it’s not working.
Summary
| Issue | Likely Cause | What to Try |
|---|---|---|
| Other member can’t see videos | Not correctly in Teamspace | Re-invite, ensure correct login |
| Shared link invalid | Privacy/sharing settings | Set link to “Everyone” |
| Can’t rejoin team | CapCut invite bug | Try web/desktop, new invite |
| Still broken | CapCut service issue | Contact support with screenshots |
