So why can I only invite one other person to work on a project with me in CapCut. it says the limit for a space is two members. is having more members only a pro feature? if so, say I have pro on one account and edit a video with my other members, will the other members be able to use the same pro features on the project?

Hi,

CapCut has recently updated its collaboration features, reducing the number of free collaborators in a workspace from five to two. To add more than two members, upgrading to the Team Tier package is necessary.

Upgrading to CapCut's premium plans offers enhanced collaboration features:

  • CapCut Standard: Priced at $9.99 per month or $89.99 annually, this plan provides 100 GB of cloud storage and 550 AI credits monthly.

  • CapCut Pro: At $19.99 per month or $179.99 annually, this plan includes 1 TB of cloud storage and 1,200 AI credits monthly.
  • CapCut Teams: Designed for businesses and larger teams, this plan encompasses all Pro features plus advanced collaboration tools, allowing multiple team members to work on different parts of a project simultaneously.

Read all features about CapCut PRO here.

Regarding shared access to Pro features, CapCut Pro subscriptions are linked to individual accounts. Therefore, if a Pro subscriber collaborates with free users, only the Pro account holder can access premium features. Free users would need their own Pro subscriptions to utilize these advanced tools.

For seamless team collaboration with shared access to premium features, the CapCut Teams plan is recommended. This plan facilitates multiple logins and simultaneous editing by different team members, ensuring efficient project workflows.

If you are experiencing limitations that don't align with the standard free plan allowances, consider reaching out to CapCut's support team at [email protected] for clarification and assistance.

For detailed guidance on inviting members to your CapCut workspace, you can refer to the following guide:

@mr33 At the time of subscribing you should see various tiers such as Standard, PRO, teams etc. Therefore inside the app while subscribing look for an option called "Teams". If you do not find it there then directly contact the sales team at [email protected] or commercepro.support@capcut.com. Mention that you would like to buy the "Teams" package for collaboration features and provide your account details. They should enable it for you.

Teams plans are designed for collaboration and shared access. They include features like:

  • Multiple user accounts: Allowing several team members to access CapCut with their own logins under a single subscription.
  • Project sharing and collaboration: Features to easily share projects, assets, and collaborate on video editing as a team.
  • Centralized billing and management: Easier management of subscriptions and billing for a team.
  • Enhanced Support: Includes higher priority or dedicated support.

In CatCut Teams, a single suscription can allow multiple accounts? I need to acquire 3 accounts for 4 members/users each

If you are looking to have 3 separate accounts, each accommodating 4 users (totaling 12 users), the CapCut Teams Plan would be appropriate.

Each Teams Plan subscription can support multiple users, so you can set up three separate team spaces, each with four members.

For your needs, subscribing to three CapCut Teams Plans would be the most effective solution. This setup ensures that each group of four users has collaborative tools and shared storage, facilitating efficient teamwork without violating any terms of service.

CapCut Teams Plan: Typically priced at $24.99 per month or $214.99 per year. However, check the final prices at the time of checkout since it depends on region and other factors.

@admin Thank you for your answer. Then, in the option SEATS, for my requirement, 2 is enough? Or should i choose 5 seats? Then what`s the meaning of "seats"?

A seat represents one user license — basically, one person who can access and use the CapCut Teams workspace with all its features (cloud collaboration, shared assets, etc.).

So, if you purchase:

  • 1 seat = 1 user

  • 2 seats = 2 users

  • 5 seats = 5 users
    …and so on.

Each seat is tied to a specific email/user and cannot be shared simultaneously.

Your case: 3 accounts for 4 users each

If you want 3 separate team spaces, and each space should have 4 users, then for each of those 3 Teams Plans, you would need to choose:

  • 4 seats per plan

So 2 seats is not enough if you need 4 users collaborating in the same team. You would need to pick 5 seats (if 4 isn't selectable), unless the system allows you to choose exactly 4 seats.

Summary of your setup

Team Account Required Seats
Team 1 4 seats
Team 2 4 seats
Team 3 4 seats
Total 12 seats

You can either:

  • Buy three separate Teams subscriptions with 4 seats each, or

  • Contact CapCut customer support to ask if you can manage all 12 users under one enterprise-style Teams plan with subgroups.
