Hi,

We will show you the step-by-step guide to help you fix the CapCut Pro sign-in/login problem you are facing including when it won’t accept your login or gives errors like “Couldn't sign in. Try again later”.

Most of these fixes are based on common troubleshooting methods used by many CapCut users who have shared their experience with us on this forum.

Check your internet first

A stable connection is essential as CapCut shows sign-in errors even if your internet seems okay.

Try:

  • Switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice-versa

  • Turning off VPN or Proxy if you are using one

  • Weak or rerouted connections can block access to CapCut’s servers.

Use the correct login method

CapCut lets you sign in using:

  • Email

  • Phone number

  • Google

  • TikTok

  • Facebook / Apple (if linked)

If one method fails, try another that’s linked to your account, for example, if you signed up with Google, use Google login.

Update the App

Make sure you are running the latest version of CapCut or CapCut Pro on your device. Older versions sometimes fail to authenticate properly. You can update via:

  • Google Play Store (Android)

  • App Store (iOS); or

  • From capeditcut.com website
  • Updating often fixes bugs including login issues.

Clear cache / app data

This removes corrupted files that can prevent login:

On Android:

  1. Go to Settings → Apps → CapCut

  2. Tap Storage

  3. Clear Cache → then Clear Data

  4. Be aware: Clearing data may remove local drafts.

On iOS:

  • You can’t clear cache manually → you’ll need to reinstall the app.

Reinstall CapCut

Uninstall the app → restart your device → reinstall CapCut from the official store.
This refreshes all app files and often fixes sign-in glitches.

Try logging in on a different device

Sometimes the issue is device-specific. Try signing in:

  • On a different phone/tablet

  • On CapCut Web ( https://www.capcut.com/login )

  • If it works there, the problem is local to your device/app.

Check subscription and account sync

If you bought CapCut Pro but can’t access it after signing in:

  • Ensure you are signed in with the same account you used to purchase Pro.

  • Look for a “Restore Purchase” option inside the app if your Pro features don’t show up.

  • If you subscribed via the App Store / Play Store, sometimes CapCut needs to refresh that subscription data.

Server side or outage issues

Sometimes the issue isn’t you as CapCut servers can be temporarily down. You can check outage trackers like Downdetector to see if others are having similar issues.

If nothing works then contact support

Use CapCut’s in-app support / feedback feature or contact official support. Provide:

  • The exact login error message

  • Your device model and OS

  • The login method you’re using

  • Proof of CapCut Pro purchase (if applicable)

  • They can investigate account-related problems directly.

Tips

  • Disable VPN — It interferes with CapCut login.

  • Free up storage space — Low storage can cause app errors.

  • Don’t create multiple CapCut accounts — Subscriptions only apply to the account that purchased them.

Can you tell us the exact what error message you see on login (e.g., “Couldn’t sign in”, “No internet”, etc.) and we can give you more precise steps tailored to that.
