We Think Capcut is fantastic.
We are a non-profit organization located in Germany. We are interested in the pro version of Capcut and wanted to inquire if it would be possible for us as a non-profit organization to receive a complimentary pro license.

Of course, we also have evidence and documents proving our non-profit status. I would be happy to provide them to you.

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in CapCut Pro and for the valuable work your non-profit organization is doing in Germany. As of now, CapCut does not publicly advertise complimentary Pro licenses specifically for non-profit organizations. However, based on your circumstances you can still request the same from the development team.

Here is how you go about it:

Draft a professional and concise email or message. Here is a template you can adapt:

Subject: Non-Profit Pro License Request - [Your Organization Name]

Dear CapCut Team,

My name is [Your Name] and I am [Your Title] at [Your Organization Name], a registered non-profit organization located in [Your City, Germany]. Our organization [briefly describe your organization and its mission - one or two sentences].

We are writing to express our strong appreciation for CapCut and its features. We believe the pro version of CapCut would be an invaluable tool for us to [explain how you would use CapCut Pro - e.g., create engaging videos for fundraising, promote our programs, document our work, etc.]. Specifically, we are interested in [mention a few key Pro features you'd utilize].

As a non-profit, our resources are limited. We are therefore inquiring about the possibility of receiving a complimentary CapCut Pro license. We would be happy to provide you with documentation verifying our non-profit status.

Thank you for considering our request. We look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

[Your Name] [Your Title] [Your Organization Name] [Your Website (if applicable)]

  • Provide proof of your Non-Profit status: Be ready to provide documentation that proves your organization's non-profit status in Germany. This might include your registration number, official documents from the Finanzamt (tax office), or similar.
  • It may take some time to get a response. If you don't hear back within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., a week or two), it's okay to follow up politely.
  • Even if you are not receiving a completely free license, check with the development team if they offer "discounts" for non-profits.
  • CapCut offers a robust free version with numerous features that might meet your organization's needs without requiring a Pro subscription.

TechSoup: This platform collaborates with various software providers to offer discounted or donated software to non-profits. Check to see if you find CapCut being listed on their platform.

As a last resort you could explore the 7 day free PRO invitation link program being offered by CapCut. Watch the below video guide to know more about this program:

Dear Capcut Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I write to enquire if non-governmental-organisations in Nigeria are eligible for Capcut pro for NGOs. If they are, please how do I apply for it?

Thank you

sincerely

Hi,

There is no publicly advertised NGO-discount or free-license scheme for CapCut PRO that automatically covers all NGOs. We will suggest you to write to CapCut along with your NGO documentation and make your case, and you might get a complimentary licence but this is not guaranteed.

  • If your NGO wants to apply, draft a professional email to CapCut’s development team on the email ID mentioned above.
  • Include documentation to prove your NGO status which includes registration certificate, nonprofit registration number, or any legal proof recognized in Nigeria.
  • Be patient as such requests may take time to process; if you don’t hear back in a “reasonable timeframe,” a polite follow-up is what you will need to do.
  • There is no guarantee about this. Since there is no official program, this remains a courtesy/by-request arrangement.
  • Your NGO’s focus, mission, or the type of content you plan to create might influence whether CapCut approves — stronger social-impact or charity-oriented work may have better chances.
  • If the request is declined, you will need to pay for Pro or continue using the free version, which is still functional for many tasks.
