Hi I cant export my video because of Super Resolution and AI ultra HD. I cant seem to remove those no matter what so what should I do and how do I remove them
Hi,
On CapCut, Super Resolution and AI Ultra HD are advanced enhancement features that boost video quality. But if your project doesn’t meet certain requirements (like resolution, format, or device capability), they can get “stuck,” preventing export. Here’s how you can fix it:
Step 1: Check your export settings
-
Click Export.
-
Look at the Resolution options (720p, 1080p, 4K).
-
Super Resolution and AI Ultra HD often require at least 1080p.
-
-
Lower the resolution to 1080p or 720p if it’s higher (like 4K).
Step 2: Disable Super Resolution / AI Ultra HD
Sometimes the toggle doesn’t respond normally. Try this:
-
Go to Project Settings or Video Enhancement (depending on CapCut version).
-
Look for Super Resolution / AI Ultra HD.
-
Toggle it off.
If the toggle is greyed out or you can’t access it:
-
Temporarily duplicate your project:
-
Export as a standard version (without enhancements) by using lower resolution.
-
Reopen the exported video as a new project if needed.
-
-
Or reset export settings:
-
Open Export
-
Change format or frame rate
-
Sometimes changing the format (MP4 vs MOV) allows you to remove enhancements.
-
Step 3: Update CapCut
-
Ensure you are on the latest version. Some versions had a bug where Super Resolution/AI Ultra HD couldn’t be removed unless updated.
Step 4: As a last resort reapply a normal export
If nothing works:
-
Create a new project.
-
Copy your clips into it.
-
Export without applying any AI enhancement.
This almost always bypasses the stuck toggles.
Below is the shortcut method to force-remove Super Resolution / AI Ultra HD on CapCut (PC) so you can export immediately:
Method: Force-remove AI Enhancements
-
Open Your Project in CapCut (PC).
-
Go to Export Settings:
-
Click Export → Check Resolution, Frame Rate, Format.
-
-
Change Resolution to 1080p or Lower:
-
Super Resolution/AI Ultra HD often locks if you’re exporting at 4K or higher.
-
Set resolution to 1080p or 720p.
-
-
Change Export Format:
-
If it’s MOV, switch to MP4, or vice versa.
-
-
Force Remove AI Options via “Video Enhancement”:
-
On PC, go to Project Settings → Video Enhancement.
-
Even if the toggle seems stuck, click “Reset” or “None” under enhancements.
-
-
Duplicate Project (if Step 5 fails):
-
Right-click your project in the library → Duplicate Project.
-
Open the duplicate → AI enhancements should now be off by default.
-
Export the duplicated project.
-
-
Sometimes the toggle stays greyed out because the clip’s resolution or frame rate is unsupported. Lowering both resolution and frame rate temporarily usually unlocks the toggle.
Below is the one-click trick to instantly disable Super Resolution / AI Ultra HD for all clips in a CapCut PC project:
One-click force disable trick:
-
Open your project in CapCut (PC).
-
Select all clips:
-
Press Ctrl + A to select all media on the timeline.
-
-
Right-Click → Remove Enhancements:
-
Right-click any selected clip → Look for Video Enhancement / Super Resolution / AI Ultra HD → Click “None”.
-
This disables the enhancement for all clips simultaneously.
-
-
Verify export settings:
-
Click Export → Make sure the resolution is 1080p or lower if necessary.
-
AI options should no longer be applied.
-
-
Export normally:
-
Your video should now export without errors caused by stuck Super Resolution / AI Ultra HD.
-
Extra Tip:
-
If the right-click option still seems greyed out:
-
Temporarily change the project frame rate (e.g., 60 → 30 FPS).
-
Click “None” again for the enhancements.
-
Switch back to your desired frame rate.
-
