Hi,

This is a known CapCut issue when Auto Captions were used at any point in the project, even if you later delete them.

What you are seeing (infinite “Loading…” on export) means something in the project timeline is silently failing to render.

Why this happens

From your description, the key trigger is:

You used Auto Captions

Then removed/replaced them

CapCut keeps hidden caption metadata or corrupted subtitle layers, which:

don’t show visually

but break export rendering

How to resolve this issue

Below we suggest these effective methods

1. Copy timeline into a NEW project

This fixes hidden corruption almost every time.

Steps:

Create a new project

Go back to the broken project

Press Ctrl + A → Ctrl + C

Paste into the new project (Ctrl + V)

Try exporting again

This removes hidden caption artifacts in the project file.

2. Remove hidden caption tracks (even if invisible)

Sometimes captions still exist as a “track.”

Check:

Timeline → look for Captions / Auto Captions

Toggle track visibility

Delete anything caption-related again

3. Render/export in parts

This helps isolate the issue.

Try:

Export only first half of the video

Then second half

If one part fails, you’ve found the corrupted segment.

4. Replace problematic clips

Auto captions sync to audio—so audio clips can cause the issue.

Try:

Delete the audio track

Re-import it fresh

Re-align it

5. Turn OFF hardware acceleration

Even if you adjusted performance settings, double-check:

Settings → Performance

Turn OFF:

Hardware decoding

CapCut export bugs freeze on GPU encoding.

6. Export via “proxy workaround”

If it still hangs:

Duplicate the project

Lower resolution (e.g., 1080p → 720p)

Export

If it works → upscale later

7. Force re-encode trick

Make a tiny edit:

Move one clip slightly

Add/remove a frame

Change export name

This forces CapCut to rebuild the render pipeline

If the above methods does not help you solve then:

Then your project file is corrupted specifically by captions.

Final workaround:

Export XML/EDL-style recreation manually:

Rebuild timeline in a new project using same assets

(annoying, but guaranteed fix)

Important message

Even though you: “removed all text boxes”

CapCut still stores:

timing data

speech segments

caption engine references

That’s what breaks export—not the visible text.

Most recommended fix based on my experience for your situation:

Copy everything into a new project

Disable hardware acceleration

Export

That solves ~90% of cases like yours.

We can talk through your exact timeline setup and pinpoint the exact failing layer if you can describe more details after trying the above methods.

4. Revisa si hay opciones de duración ocultas

A veces (según la versión):

Hay ajustes como:

“Auto duration”

“Match content length”

Desactívalos si están activos.

5. Reporta el problema (MUY importante)

Esto es clave porque afecta créditos:

En CapCut:

Perfil → Settings → Feedback / Report a problem

Email capcut.support@bytedance.com

Si suficientes usuarios lo reportan, suelen corregirlo rápido.

Sobre los créditos

Lamentablemente:

CapCut Pro ≠ créditos ilimitados de IA

Son sistemas separados (y bastante criticados)

Y sí, tienes razón en esto:
No deberían cobrar créditos por resultados defectuosos

Ahora mismo:

No uses muchos créditos en videos largos (180 s)

Trabaja en segmentos cortos hasta que arreglen el bug

Only difference is that on the affected video I used Auto Caption, and not on the other. This was used with the free credit so no premium issues should be occurring.

I manually removed all text boxes produced by the captions and replaced them with standard boxes yet the issue persists.

I have made all changes to performance tab reccomneded by other issues and posts, still no resolution.

File size is less than 1gb.

Hi,

This is actually a common issue with CapCut Dreamina, and it is usually not your birthday that’s the problem but it’s how the system handles age verification.

Why it keeps rejecting your birthday

1. It doesn’t use what you type

On the web version (including Dreamina), CapCut does NOT store your birthday from that screen.

Instead, it pulls your age from whatever you used to sign in like TikTok, Google, Apple, etc.

So:

You type your birthday → hit confirm

But the system checks your linked account → mismatch → it loops or doesn’t proceed

2. Cached / bugged session

Sometimes it just gets stuck because:

Cookies/session data are broken

The page fails to refresh after input

Temporary server glitch

3. Age restriction triggers

If your linked account says you're under the required age:

It may silently block progress

Or just keep you stuck on that screen

What you should try

Fix #1 — Check your login account birthday

This is the BIG one.

If you logged in with:

Make sure it matches your real age and is above the minimum age to use CapCut.

Fix #2 — Log out and use a different sign-in method

Try:

This bypasses the stuck birthday loop.

Fix #3 — Clear browser data

Do this exactly:

Clear cookies + cache

Then reload Dreamina and try again.

Fix #4 — Wait 24 hours

If you just changed your birthday on another account:

It can take time to sync across systems

Fix #5 — Try mobile app instead

The CapCut mobile app:

Fix #6 — Disable VPN if you are using one

Your region can affect age rules.
VPN = higher age requirement sometimes.

Why you can’t find “Object” (CapCut PC vs Android)

On CapCut mobile, there’s an “Object / Background / Person” toggle inside Effects (especially in Body/Video effects).

On CapCut PC, that specific button/menu is not there or limited.

Instead, CapCut PC uses a different workflow which is more manual control based.

So you are not doing anything wrong as the feature just isn’t in the same place.

What to use instead on CapCut PC:

1. Apply effect to a specific clip

How Masks work in CapCut:

A mask applies to the entire clip by default

Keyframes only change the mask, not whether it exists

So unless you “remove” or isolate it, it will persist through the clip

Best ways to start & stop a Mask

Method 1: Split the Clip which is the easiest & most reliable method

This is the method most video editors are using nowadays:

Move playhead to where the mask should start

Tap Split

Move to where the mask should end

Tap Split again

Select the middle segment

Apply your mask only to that segment

Result: The mask exists only in that section so that no weird growth or carryover appears.

401

Method 2: Keyframe the Mask size to “Disappear”

If you really want to use keyframes:

Go to the frame where mask should start

Add a keyframe → set mask size/shape normally

Go to the frame where mask should end

Add another keyframe → shrink mask to:

Extremely small size, OR

Move it completely off-screen

CapCut interpolates between keyframes, so if the mask is “growing,” it means it’s transitioning between sizes/positions

To stop growth:

Keep the same size/position across keyframes

Add an extra keyframe right after the end point with the mask “hidden”

Method 3: Use Opacity trick (Overlay Method)

If masking an object:

Duplicate clip as overlay

Mask only the overlay

Keyframe overlay opacity:

This gives you a true “on/off” feel

Why your Mask keeps growing?

This happens because:

You set different mask sizes/positions across keyframes

To fix this:

Add a keyframe right before movement starts

Keep values identical between keyframes where you want no change

If your goal is simply to hide something briefly, don’t fight keyframes as splitting the clip is cleaner, faster, and more predictable.
